2024 Super Raffle is April 20th!

The 33rd annual JCC Super Raffle is approaching fast! 3rd strike by is back by popular demand. Plus, Stu the piano guy is this years live music.

Doors Open: 5:00-12 midnight
Dinner: 6:00-7:00 pm
Cash Bar: 5:00 pm - 12 midnight, open to the public after 8:00 pm for cash bar, Stu the piano guy live music, auctions, 50-50 raffle and dozens of raffle items from community businesses

Junior Skyhawks 2022 Donation

Johnsburg PTO Donation

John Smidl Memorial Scholarship

The John Smidl Memorial Scholarship was created by Walla-Pa-Looza in memory of John Smidl, an outstanding Johnsburg resident and Lions Club Member who lost his courageous battle with Cancer in June 2013. The Fund will award a $500 Scholarship to a current Junior or Senior in High School!! The Scholarship will be open to students who are current Cancer patients or have survived Cancer, reside in Lake County, IL or McHenry County, IL, and are in their Junior or Senior year of high school.

Applicants must submit their application and write an essay about how cancer has touched their life (500 words or less). Upon submission the board will read through all the applications and select one winner for the $500 John Smidl Memorial Scholarship. Applications and Essays were due April 30, 2014. Winner will be contacted prior to Monday June 30th, 2014, as winner will be announced online (social media and website) on June 30th. Winner will areceive the scholarship and receive a $20 food voucher from Family Affair.

NOTE: On APRIL 8th 2014 the Walla-Pa-Looza Organization announced the dissolution of their organization, and will cease all future fundraisers. The John Smidl Memorial Scholarship will be managed now by the Johnsburg Lions Club. Contact the Johnsburg Lions Club at: 2015 W. Johnsburg Road, Johnsburg, IL 60051.
